 Remember that the best college for any design discipline depends on quality of students as much as faculty, placements, etc. are important. Your growth in the field of depends on the the design environment. If you really want to explore the field and become a good designer you need to have a healthy competition around you with your classmates that will facilitate mutual sharing of knowledge and ideas. If you were a person who went to NID/NIFT coaching (I do not recommend coaching) you would have understood what a design environment means because the competition would be extremely high and you see a contrast of batchmates with really mind blowing portfolio and the laggers who somehow just manage to complete the work. What happens in a college that has poor design environment (a.k.a students who are less competitive/poor quality student batch)?
